
Pastor Sang-Won Doh grew up in Seoul, Korea, and comes from a proud
heritage of Methodist ministers. His grandfather was a Korean
Methodist pastor and martyred by the Communists during the Korean
War. His father, the Rev. Kun II Doh has served the Korean
Methodist Church for over 40 years. In Korea, Sang-Won served in
the Korean Army (1989-1990) and graduated from the Korean Methodist
Theological Seminary in 1992. He came to the US to continue his
education in theology at Drew Theological Seminary, graduating with
a Master of Divinity in 1995. Since 1992, Rev. Doh has served as
Youth Pastor in several churches and as a full time Senior Pastor in
three UM churches. He is a strong advocate of prayer ministry, and
allowing God to work through his people. He believes in the small
group setting for the spiritual growth of individuals and is
enthusiastic about equipping the laity for spiritual leadership.
