Mary's Closet

Mary's Circle is collecting clothing for children from infancy to childrens size 18 to stock "Mary's Closet" for our Food Pantry families. It is our hope to open the third Saturday of March, and every Food Pantry Saturday for any of our pantry guests that needs clothing for their children.  We are asking for donations of clean , "gently used" items that can be re-cycled and re-used. Please do not include undergarments or winter clothing.  At this time we are asking for ONLY children's items.  There is a blue bin in the Narthex ready to receive your donations.

The meetings are a great way to meet other women who have the same concerns about their spirituality, life, mothering, growing older....and have some fun at the same time! Some of the activities of the past include discussions about childhood and married life, hobby or craft night, preparing baskets for the girls at Crossroads and visiting them, and making up shoe boxes for Samaritan's Purse. The Circle supports the Neighborhood Center in Camden and has long supported a missionary, Joy Phillips, now serving in Africa. If you would like to join this Circle or want additional information, contact Vicki O'Brien or Bunny Zimmerman.

  • Hannah
The Hannah Circle is for past Circle members who are in Nursing Homes or can no longer come to meetings. Ginny Dreby keeps in contact with these women by sending them birthday cards and UMW literature. Contact Ginny for any additional information or to inform her of someone who should be included in this Circle.

  • Martha
The Martha Circle is for women who want to be associated with the UMW organization, but are unable or prefer not to meet on a scheduled monthly basis. They receive UMW information and support all UMW functions and service projects as they are able. For additional information, please contact Betsi Tatem.
