Pizza, Pins, and Pop
If you like to bowl, we are having a church outing to Laurel Lanes in Maple Shade at 12:30 pm on Sunday, April 21st. The cost is $10 per person (paid to the church). The cost includes pizza, soda, shoe rental and two hours of bowling. There will be a sign-up sheet in the narthex. We hope you’ll join us. All are welcome!
Wednesday Night Discussion Group
On April 17th we will begin a new series based on the book, “Putting Scripture in its Place” by Josh Scott. Books will be available in the Narthex on Sunday, April 14th.
The Wednesday Night Discussion Group is a joint Bible study with Asbury United Methodist Church in Cinnaminson. Pastor Rachel and Pastor John lead the group discussions on Wednesday evenings at 7pm on Zoom. All are welcome to join in the discussion. For more information about this group, please contact the church office.
"The Chosen" Bible Study
A few years ago, an online series called “The Chosen” made its debut and has sparked a lot of deep theological discussions on discipleship. Pastor Rachel and Matthew would like to invite people to watch through this show and study the Gospels with them over the next few months on Thursday nights at 7pm starting on September 14th at the upstairs television at the church. Mah Jong
Did you know that Epworth has a Mah Jong group? They meet every Monday at 12:30 pm and are always looking for new people to join them. Everyone is welcome. Don’t know how to play? No problem. They will be happy to teach you. For more information, please contact Debbie Cheeseman.
Interested in Joining the Church?
Church membership can be a great way to grow your commitment to the life of the church and expand your ways of getting involved! Pastor Rachel is currently collecting names of those interested in becoming professing members of Epworth and will be having New Membership classes starting Sunday April 28th after worship until 1pm. Lunch will be provided. Please contact the Church office if interested.
DONATIONS
Bread of Life Food Pantry accepts donations Wednesday afternoons from 1 ~ 3pm and Thursday evenings 7 ~ 8pm. Food is distributed on the third Saturday of the month, 9am ~ 1pm
