There is a planned program every month that varies from Bingo to Senior Issues & Information and trips. Attendance varies anywhere from 12 to 24 and meets at the church. Be sure to bring a brown-bag lunch for all the 12 o’clock meetings. For more information, contact Ann Magonigal.
Calling all men, women, and teens!! We aren’t the NBA but we can sure try. We play on Tuesday nights in the gym and you are invited. Join us for some full court action on Tuesdays from 6 – 8 pm. Whether you play basketball or not, we encourage you to come join us. We have both members and non-members joined together in a fast paced environment. Join us for fun, fellowship, and exercise! We are look forward to seeing YOU “on the court”!
Mah Jongg is an ancient Chinese tile game that has a similarity to gin rummy. (This is not the computer solitaire version.) If you do not know how to play we will teach anyone who wants to learn. Consider coming out on Wednesday at 12:30pm in the parlor for a great time of fellowship. If you would like to know more about the game or the group please see Diane Soper.
Goodtimers is a social group that gathers monthly for various events and activities. A movie night which is usually a classic gem, barbecue, Riversharks game, a local play, Christmas Caroling, game night, surprise auction, or a trip to a museum are all things that may be on the schedule for the month. Always a fun evening, you are invited to come out for a good time!
Continuing throughout the summer you are invited to be part of our golf group. We play at area golf courses in the evening, usually 9 holes. It is a time of fellowship while we chase our ball around the course. All are welcome including friends. This not the PGA so we welcome all skill levels. Contact Tim Weiler or Pastor Charlie for more information.
Lenten Soup Supper
Throughout the Lenten season we gather on Sunday evenings for a light soup supper followed by a short time of discussion and fellowship. All are invited to join us on Sunday evenings during Lent at 5pm in the fellowship room. Bring family members, friends and children. We will have a play area for little ones. We finish about 6pm.

History of Epworth UMW
Our history at Epworth UMC began over a century ago as many different names
- 1895 – The Ladies Aid Society
- 1909 – The Women’s Foreign Missionary Society
- 1942 – The Women’s Society of Christian Service
- 1972 – The United Methodist Women
In 2010, Epworth UMW was recognized by The Women’s Division of the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church as an official charter unit.
In 2011, Mary’s Closet was opened under the leadership of Donna Undercuffler. The mission of Mary’s Closet is to help clothe women, children and youth of families, who are guests of The Bread of Life Food Pantry, by reaching out in faith to bring the hope of Christ through our actions and love.
In 2013 United Methodist Women became an independent agency.
